Bridgestone Australia Ltd. is the Australian distributor of Bridgestone Golf and Precept equipment. Precept products first appeared in the Australian market back in 1991. Bridgestone's involvement in golf dates back to 1935 when they manufactured their first golf ball. In 1981 Bridgestone produced its one millionth golf club. In fact, Bridgestone's Js drivers and fairway woods were some of the game's first metal woods and the Precept EV Extra Spin ball was one of the game's first high-performance solid-core golf balls.

Today Bridgestone shares the same passion for the game of golf as our founder. Mr. Ishibashi converted his golf passion into a commercial success when Bridgestone first produced golf balls in 1935. Along with technical developments in tyre technology came breakthroughs in golf ball technology that have led Bridgestone to be the number one golf ball producer in Japan. Design and production of golf clubs followed in 1972 with the same passion for excellence propelling Bridgestone to a leadership position in the current marketplace.
